Fun 2 Weeks!

The past 2 weeks have been jam-packed! Peter and I spent the whole time up in EGF while Ben came and went on the weekends so that he could work during the week. The three of us were in my best friend, Haley's wedding...Ben as a groomsman, Peter as ring bearer and me as matron of honor. Then my brother and his wife (Brad & Amy) had their second child--a girl--who was born on 7.17.07 at 11:54pm. She was 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 inches long. Her name is Avery Madeleine Beauchamp. Then EGF had a Jubilee and I planned an Old School vs. New School softball game...Here are all the great photos from July!

Big Boy Bed

Last night we put Peter's new "Big Boy Bed" up in his room. We did so thinking that we would leave it up for a month or so while still putting him to sleep in his crib, just for him to get used to looking at it and "voila"! he was ready to sleep in it right away! From the time Peter was born, his room has been subtly decorated with a Noah's Ark theme (primarily because we didn't find out the sex of the baby when I was pregnant) and now we will slowly but surely transform his room into a sports-themed room (With an emphasis on baseball because that's MY favorite!).

A few weeks back, Ben took his shirt off during work and completely fried his back so I thought I would share the photos with you... Notice his back compared to his pant line?......OUCH! His farmer's tan gets darker by the day...you can notice how much darker than me he is!

This past weekend I had a garage sale. I did really well! I made good money, the weather was beautiful...what more could a person ask for? I got rid of some old stuff and next Spring I think I'll have another one so that I can I try again on some of the stuff that didn't sell, plus add more to the mix!

This coming weekend we will be hosting our good friends Haley & Jacob's bachelorette and bachelor parties here in Mankato. We are really excited, but it will be a lot of work! We will be spending the 4th of July preparing but most importantly Ben, Peter and I will be together most of the week, which is a rare occasion for us!

Then, we will be in the wedding on the 14th of July. Peter & I will be in EGF from July 8th-22nd and Ben will be coming back and forth so that he can get some work in down here in Mankato. The weekend of July 20th-22nd we will be up in EGF for the all-school reunion and city Jubilee. We are looking forward to the "vacation" but it's a lot of work planning for all this stuff! On the 21st I will be helping to host an alumni softball game for Sacred Heart. I am really looking forward to playing with my former teammates!

With all this stuff going on, I probably won't be posting, but after it's all said and done, I will put a ton of fun pictures up at the end of July. Sound good?

We hope you are having a wonderful summer so far and that you have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Still Keepin' Busy

Hi everyone! We've been busy every single weekend since graduation...Ben's cousin got married, my high school softball team made it to the state tournament so they were playing in North Mankato (Love ya, Eagles!), we attended a graduation party for one of Ben's other cousins (Ben has a lot of cousins for all of you that aren't aware of that) and this past weekend was Father's Day! I finally have some pictures to share.

On Friday night, Haley and Jacob came over to BBQ and the boys played outside. Peter and Daddy went for their first bike ride of the summer. Peter loved it...He loved it even when they weren't moving. He kept going in and out of the carrier even when it was detached from the bike!!

This past Saturday Haley and I attended a bridal shower for her down in Titonka, Iowa. It was all the church ladies hosting it that are friends of Jacob's family. It was a nice little day trip for us 2 girls. Peter spent the day with Daddy...(When I got home, I saw Peter eating chocolate pudding by himself and Daddy was off doing something, that bath picture sure is a good one!)

On Father's Day we went to mass in the morning, then we played with Peter's Mickey Mouse 4 Square Mat that he got for his birthday. He was afraid at first but ended up enjoying it a lot. I think it will be a good summer toy for him. My camera batteries died before we were done playing so I'll just have to tell you about the funniest part...To get Peter to enjoy it more, Ben & I acted like it was a water fountain by leaning over to take a drink. Peter thought it was funny so he tried it too. So here's all three of us leaning over this mat, drinking hose water...Should have been a good picture! I think the neighbor's could have committed us to an institution for how dumb we looked. But it was good 'ol family fun if you ask me!

Anyways, here are the pictures...Enjoy!
